I am really into blush and nudes right now, (which is funny because I really hate the color pink with the exception of hot pink.) and I recently bought some pale pink shoes from shoedazzle and I love them, (As Soon as this cold weather goes away I am so wearing them.) so I decided to use that color for my next mani.
What you need:
- Your favorite base coat
- Dotting tools (or tooth pics & bobby pins)
- Nail art striper (I used black)
- Your favorite matte topcoat or regular topcoat
Polishes used:
- Wet n Wild – Sugar Coat
- Sally Hansen Xtreme wear – Black Out
Step 1: Put a base coat on your nails to protect them and wait till it dries. The put at least two coats of pale pink polish on or until it’s completely opaque.
Step 2: On your pinky finger, take the black striper and draw a single thin line down the middle of your nail.
Step 3: On your ring finger, take your dotting tool and put three dots in the middle of your nail. Then work outwards from there. Next to the spaces between the three dots, put more dots and continue to do that until you run out of space on your nail.
Step 4: On your middle finger, take your black polish and diagonally paint the tip of your nail. if you feel it’s not straight enough use the striper to do so.
Step 5: On your index finger, make a row of dots diagonally from the tip of your nail to your cuticle.
Step 6: On your thumb, take the striper and draw a “V” with the bottom of the “V” near your cuticle and the top near the tip of your nail.
Step 7: Then put your matte top coat on. You don’t have to use a matte topcoat, you can use a regular topcoat but I thought it would look awesome with a matte finish.
All done 🙂
