I knew I had to do some holiday nails, but I didn’t want to do full on Christmas nails like I did last year (before this blog; its posted on Instagram @sickreativitynails.) So I did season inspired nails and so the Snowman at Dusk was born.
What you need:
- White nail art striper
- Black nail art striper
- Orange nail art striper
- Dotting tool
- Base and Top coat
- Make-up sponge
- Liquid Latex (Optional)
- Essie – Avenue Maintain
- Essie – Tart Deco
- L’Oréal – I Will!
Step 1: Coat your nails in “Tart Deco”.
Step 2: Using the make-up sponge, create an ombre effect with “Avenue Maintain” and “Tart Deco.”
Step 3: If you used liquid latex, peel it off and do a clean up if needed.
Step 4: Using your dotting tool and “I Will!” dot some white dots on the tips of your nails for your layer of snow on the ground.
Step 5: Again, using the dotting tool on your middle finger create a big white dot right on the small white dots.
Step 6: Make another smaller white dot on top of that one.
Step7: On the other nails of your choice, using your striper, make white trees and small dots for falling snow.
Step 8: Using the black and orange nail art stripers, put the small details on your snowman. (So ugly that it’s cute lol)
Step 9: Put your topcoat on and your all finished!
I hope you all have an awesome Christmas. Happy Holidays!
