One of my favorite nail You Tubers, Elleandish, was the first person I’ve ever seen make nail stickers. After seeing her do it in a few of her videos, I had to try it for myself. I decided to do the “no water drag watermarble” nail stickers. I loved the outcome of them, and they’re really easy to do. Here’s how I did it.
What you Need:
- Sandwich Bag
- Toothpick
- Top Coat
- Basecoat
- Clean up brush or Q-tip
- Scissors (Optional)
- Remover
Polishes Used:
- Butter London – Knackered
- Butter London – Bluey
Step 1: On your sandwich bag, apply two coats of nail polish.
Step 2: While the polish is still wet, put a few drops of your second color on top of the polish you applied to the bag.
Step 3: Using the toothpick, drag the colors around to give that water marble look. If needed, it’s cool to add more of the first color so that dragging the colors will blend to your liking.
Step 4: Do as many as needed, and the stickers should look like this.
Step 5: Allow the stickers to dry completely, then peel them off. You can cut the stickers to the size of your nail, so there will be less clean up.
Step 6: After applying base coat, coat your nails in the desired colors.
Step 7: While your nails are still wet, apply the sticker to your nail. Use your finger to gently press the sticker to your nail.
Step 8: Using a clean up brush (or Q-tip) and nail polish remover, carefully clean up the excess from the sticker.
Step 9: Apply your favorite top coat and you are done.
Have a great rest of the week. 🙂
