For this week, I wanted to do something a bit more sparkly… okay A LOT more sparkly and a little artsy. This nail art was me freestyling because I literally had no idea what I wanted to do. So I came up with this. It’s really easy to do and doesn’t call for a steady hand. Also, I decided to use these press-on nails that I got for Christmas. Since they were plain, I decided to them and have fun polishing them myself.
What you need:
- Base Coat
- Top Coat
- Black Striper
- White Striper
Polishes Used:
- Butter London – West End Wonderland
- Essie – She’s Pampered
Step 1: After applying your base coat, coat your nails in a gold glitter polish.
Step 2: Using the black nail striper, starting on the left side of your cuticle, swipe the striper diagonally to the other side of your nail.
Step 3: Using your red polish, take off some of the polish off of the brush. Then swipe the polish on the tip of the right side of your nail, crossing over the black.
Step 4: Using the white striper, swipe the white striper next to the black stripe going in the same direction.
Step 5: Again, using the white striper, swipe a white stripe directly on top of the red going in the same direction.
Step 6: Apply your top coat and you’re all done.
Have a Great Wednesday!
