Spring Pastels

Happy Wednesday!  Spring is almost near.  Whenever I think of spring, I think of three things:  my birthday, nice weather, and pastels.  I saw a mani on Pinterest that included pastels and gold.  I had to put my own spin on it and so here’s what I got.

What you need:

  • Top Coat
  • Base Coat
  • Glitter Gold Striper

Polishes Used:

  • Essie – Go Ginza
  • Essie – Find Me An Oasis
  • Essie – Fiji
  • O.P.I. – Gargantuan Green Grape

Step 1: After applying your base coat, coat your nails in the four colors.  It doesn’t matter the order.

Step 2: On your pinky, using the striper, create a triangle with the point near the cuticle.

Step 3: On your ring finger, make a straight vertical line.

Step 4: On your middle finger, paint a line on the tip of your nail.

Step 5: On your index finger, do the same triangle that your did in step one except make the triangle the opposite way.

Step 6: Put on your topcoat and you are all done.  It’s one of the most simplest designs I’ve done and great for the beginner or the expert because it’s sharp and it is classy.
