On Instagram, I follow @ninanailedit, and she recently posted an abstract mani that I had to recreate. In the nail art, she used gold foil, but since I don’t have that, I had to improvise using gold metallic polish and a glitter striper. This mani is so cute and simple to do and here’s how I did it.
What I used:
- Black Striper
- Gold Glitter Striper
- Top Coat
- Base Coat
Polishes Used:
- Butter London – Cotton Buds
- Essie – Fiji
- Essie – Good As Gold
Step 1: After applying your base coat, coat your nails in all white.
Step 2: The using your pale pink, take some of the polish off of the brush and put some random strokes of polish onto your nails.
Step 3: Then, with your black striper, make small black strokes on your nails. Also, with the black, make sure you take off some of the polish. Try to aim towards the outer parts of your nails.
Step 4: Then, using your gold metallic polish, again wipe off some of the polish and dab some of the polish onto your nails. Try to get the gold near or partially on top of the pink strokes.
Step 5: Using, your glitter striper, cover all of the gold polish strokes.
Step 6: Apply your top coat and you’re all done.
So in love with your nails! I’ll have to try it out and hopefully it will be as beautiful as you did ❤
