I’ve been wanting to try that stringy mani (I don’t know the proper name of it) and when I did, it turned out to be really easy and not as messy as I thought. So here’s how I did it.
- Top Coat
- Base Coat
- Dotting Tool
- Plastic/ Foil/ Paper
Step 1: After applying your favorite base coat, coat your nails in black polish.
Step 2: Then, on a piece of plastic, foil or paper put nice amounts of your three polishes.
Step 3: Allow your polishes to dry for a few minutes. Don’t let it dry all the way, but just enough until it gets tacky and stringy.
Step 4: Then, when the polish is at the desired consistency, place your finger near the polish. Using your dotting tool, dip it into the polish and drag the strings onto your nails.
Step 5: Clean up the little strings off of your fingers and do the same with the second and third colors.
Step 6: Then apply your top coat and you’re all done.
