Pin in the Polish

I’ve been seeing this cool way to marble nails all over Instagram.  I’ve tried to do it once before, and it was a fail.  I was using the wrong tool to swirl the polish, and it just didn’t look pretty at all.  I finally tried it again using a pin, and it worked out awesomely.  So here’s how to get these swirly nails!

Items Used:

  • Base Coat
  • Top Coat
  • A Pin or Needle

Polishes Used:

Step 1: After applying your base coat, on the right side of your index finger and ring finger and on the left side of your other fingers apply one coat of your blue polish.

Step 2:  On the opposite side of your nails, apply one coat of the pink polish.  It doesn’t have to be perfect.

Step 3: One finger at a time, apply a generous amount of each color on top of their existing coats.  While the colors are still wet, take a pin and swirl the two colors to your liking.

Step 4: Apply your favorite top coat, and you’re all done!
