Tuff

I was looking on google for cool nail art that I could try to recreate, and I found this awesome art that was done by Rave Nailz on Etsy.  As soon as I saw them, I knew that I had to try to recreate them.  They’re so “tuff” or in other words they are really cool.

Items Needed:

  • Quick Dry Top Coat
  • Base Coat
  • Black Acrylic Paint
  • Nail Art Brush
  • Dotting Tool

Polishes Used:

  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear – BlackOut
  • Ulta Nail Laquer – Sun-Sational
  • Essie – No Place Like Chrome
  • L’Oréal – I Will!

Step 1: After applying your base coat, put two coats of a silver metallic polish on your pinky, a white polish on your ring finger, a yellow polish on your middle and a black polish on your index.  Then apply a quick dry top coat and let completely dry.

Step 2: Then using black acrylic paint (make sure to add water to the paint to make it more pliable) and a nail art brush, paint an ‘S’ on your ring finger.  If you mess up, scratch it off with a toothpick.

Step 3: Fill in one side of the ‘S’.

s2

Step 4: Using a dotting tool, on the black side, add a white dot and on the white side, add a black dot.

s3

Step 5: On you middle finger, paint two X’s next to each other near the cuticle.

Step 6: Then paint a smile and a tongue on the tip of your nail.

Step 7: It should look like this.

Step 8: Top everything off with your favorite top coat and you’re all done!
